Ladies & gents, MEDSOK will have the annual holiday party on Sunday, December 2nd. Tami S, the organizer of this event, has chosen the Meridian Cafe as the venue. The Meridian Cafe serves both Middle-Eastern and American food and has a front room for dancing. The Meridian Cafe is located at 112 Meridian Ave, Saint Matthews, KY 40207, and is easily accessible from I-264 (Watterson Expressway) and I-64. For a map to the location, click [ HERE ].

The event will run from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm. Attendence is limited to 20 people. The cost, which includes tax and gratuity:

• Members: $13.80
• Non-members: $27.60

If you wish to attend the Holiday party, please inform Tami of your Main Dish and Dessert choice(s) ASAP! You can pay for your meal at the door.

Tami has arranged for a party menu with several entrees. Here is the menu:

1. Hummus and Pita Appetizer
2. Baby Green Salad With Roma tomatoes, Capers, Feta cheese, Balsamic vinaigrette
3. Main Dishes:
   • Moroccan White Fish with peppers and tomatoes Paired with bulgur vegetable pilaf
   • Chicken or beef Kebabs Served over mujadarra
   • Moroccan Chickpea Stew Over basmati rice with pita wedges
   • Bulgur walnut Loaf Served with smashed red potatoes and Green Beans
   • Roasted chicken breast Over vegetable rice pilaf dressed with a mushroom walnut sauce
   • Grilled salmon Served over red lentil vegetable pilaf finished with a lemon honey sauce
4. Dessert choices:
   • Double chocolate Brownies
   • Baklava
5. Drinks:
   • Coffee
   • Tea
   • Water
