Teacher Discounts for '08 Workshop

Greetings and salutations from Maura Enright, the 2008 workshop organizer. Thank you for bringing your students to the November 1-2 workshop/concert with Karim Nagi. You will find the teacher-discounts helpful in mitigating the impact of the workshop on your own training budget and/or providing you with the means to create a 'scholarship' program for your deserving students. I have tried to cover all the scenerios in the list below. I will be as flexible as possible in helping you juggle how you apply the discount.

• You must enroll three or more students in the Saturday workshop for a teacher discount. The discount is $10 per student. This means the minimum enrollment is three students and the minimum discount is $30.
• After the initial enrollment of 3 (or more) students, you may enroll any number of additional students at any time and get a $10 credit per student or money back at the door.
• Teachers must take the Saturday workshop. Please submit a separate, regular registration form for yourself. You get discounts on STUDENT enrollments only. There is a place on the regular registration form to subtract the teacher discount. If we end up owing YOU money, we will refund it at the door OR you may use it up on a subsequent enrollment form.
• You may register students with any combination of forms desired: individual registration sheets, the discount form, or combination thereof. YOUR registration must be on an individual enrollment form.
• You may pay with any combination of checks you desire. One, three or ten, $3 or $300. Just make sure that the check totals equal the final cost for yourself and your students.
• The Saturday AM morning teaches dancing with straight canes. Karim recommends 42" dowels for students. Folks registering before 10/19 get these for free. After 10/19, they are $7.

• Anyone can join MEDSOK (for $20) and take member discounts at the same time.
• All dancers at the Saturday concert must be MEDSOK members. People joining before the workshop will be buying an Academic year membership which will end August 2009.
• All dancers at the Saturday concert must take the Saturday workshop. This is how we keep the price for the workshops so low.
• Concert tickets are free for performers, $5 for MEDSOK members, and $10 for all others, even when bought by a MEDSOK member.
• The early-bird discount of free canes for the Saturday AM workshop means that I need the registration form(s) in my hands no later than Saturday, Oct 18.
• No refunds unless event is cancelled.

1. You will probably need to adjust your font size to Smaller or Small in order to fit the form on the printed page.
2. Do a print preview.
3. Adjust paper orientation to to Landscape.
4. Adjust page margins if necessary to get the entire form on one page.
5. Send the Teacher Discount form(s) in with your own regular registration form.
6. Checks should be made out to MEDSOK.
